Tenant Tools

Find the tenant ID for any domain, check Microsoft 365 DNS records and get tenant endpoints.

Try:

Lookups go directly from your browser to Microsoft’s public sign-in service (login.microsoftonline.com) and, for DNS, to Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1). Only the domain or tenant ID is sent – never the name part of an email address. Cloud Admin Workbench does not see or store your queries.

About this tool

Tenant lookup reads Microsoft Entra ID’s public OpenID Connect metadata for a domain or tenant ID. Every verified domain of a tenant resolves to the same tenant ID, together with its region scope and cloud instance. This works for any organisation and requires no sign-in.

DNS checks verify the records Microsoft 365 relies on: MX and Autodiscover for Exchange Online, SPF, DKIM and DMARC for email authentication, and the optional CNAMEs that simplify device registration and Intune enrollment. Records that point elsewhere aren’t necessarily wrong – hybrid setups and mail gateways are common.

Privacy: unlike the other tools, lookups need the internet. Your browser contacts Microsoft and Cloudflare DNS directly and only after you click “Look up”. Only the domain or tenant ID is sent, never the name part of an email address, and nothing passes through or is stored by Cloud Admin Workbench.
