About this tool
Every failed Microsoft Entra sign-in returns an AADSTS code – in the browser, in app logs and in the sign-in logs (“Sign-in error code”). Paste the code, its name or the complete error message. The tool extracts the code together with the Trace ID, Correlation ID and timestamp, which you need to find the exact attempt in the sign-in logs or for a Microsoft support case.
Descriptions come from Microsoft’s official error code reference and ship with this page. For the most frequent codes, Cloud Admin Workbench adds practical notes on what to check. Codes like 50058 or 50140 are an expected part of normal sign-ins and usually need no action.
